The OK BuyObject

Return to Introduction Group BuyObject BuyObject Page Image Map

The OK BuyObject gives your customer an acknowledgement that the item has been put in the cart. It is for use when you have linked the form action to Addloop.asp, so that making a purchase will reload the same page instead of going directly to checkout.

(Note: If you test this BuyObject on your local computer, you will get the Dummy Addloop page instantly because you are not using the CatalogIntegrator Cart on the Server.)

1. Make sure the form is linked to "../Cart/addloop.asp, NOT "../Cart/add.asp". (The "looping" action does not work on your local computer using the Dummy cart pages. It requires the cart be installed on your server.)

2. Select the Submit image and in the Actions Palette, and add to it the "Set Image URL" action.

3. Use the Mouse Click Event. (You can also use Mouse Down or Mouse Up) and then in the popup, select the image name: "OKBlankImage". (This is the invisible transparent gif, "okblank.gif" in the Images directory of both the Model Site and the CatalogIntegrator Extend Script.).

4. Then link to "OK.gif".

That's it. When your customer hits the Submit image, he should see the "Ok"with a checkmark.. You can make your own acknowledgement image, of course. Just make sure both the blank gif and the "OK" image are exactly the same size.
